Your brain has never seen light. It sits in the dark, receives pulses, and guesses. The colour, the feeling, the meaning. All of it.
I’m not an expert in any of this. I read too much, sleep too little and keep a list of ideas I can’t stop thinking about. This is the first one. Don’t read it. Walk through it, with the sound on.

The buildings, the currency in my pocket, the deadline, the urgency. Someone had the idea. That isn’t bleak. It means the story isn’t given to you.

A digital image is just numbers, so every possible image already exists as a coordinate. Maybe a photo isn’t made. It’s found.

We built the conditions. Transformers, data, feedback loops. Then it arrived, the way fire arrives when you arrange the wood right.

Information abundance is doing to our minds what food abundance did to our bodies. The content that wins is the sugar, fat and salt of ideas.

AI can generate forever. It doesn’t wake up at 3 AM haunted by an idea it can’t let go of. I do. Every choice I make closes other choices. That’s the edge.

Every action leaves ripples. Not as a metaphor. Physically. Chemical reactions, decisions, words. They change the path of everything downstream.

3:12 AM, a black screen, my own face in it. A pattern, recognising a pattern, inside a bigger pattern. That moment broke something. Or fixed it.
